"Unfortunately I’m updating my review due to constant rate hikes. Seems like it’s happening every six months Update: I called to cancel my insurance on July 8th. Brendan the representative only cancelled one of my vehicles and proceeded to charge me again the following month. When I called in to get an explanation, I was threatened that my policy wouldn’t get cancelled if I didn’t verify my email? Horrible customer service! Now they refuse to return my calls. Shame on this branch."

State Farm offers something I could not find at Amica or others: a Personal Item insurance (claims don't create a black mark in your home insurance!!) with low deductible. "I got to know Wendi when she was working in someone else's office. I don't think I ever met the other person but Wendi was there handling everything and doing a great job at it. I was disappointed when I heard she had left that office but not at all surprised when I found out she had opened her own office! When the other office closed (retirement?) my account was switched to some other agent I knew nothing about so I put in an agent change request to be switched to Wendi's agency. Insurance is expensive with any company but it's great having an agent who is available, responds, and gives suggestions. Most recently Wendi helped us through an issue where SF said we needed to replace our only 12 year old roof or lose our homeowners coverage. With the help of Wendi and our original roofer ( thanks Addicott Roofing!) we have been able to retain our insurance without having to replace the roof. Thank you!"
